It won't be stiff at all, because of the element near the BB. If somebody want to use it with 3 speed cranks, chain will hit the chaintube.

could be problem with the shock with big reservoir, and if the bottom bracket is not wide enought the rear triangle won't be stiff. Otherwise it is an good idea. Keep working.

I have never heard abot macmahone bikes. It's not a copy. Frames are similar,thats all.
